Python is not only a great for kids, it's also the most widely used programming language in the world.  In this camp we’ll be making a brick breaker-style game using Python and Pygame. We will learn the building blocks of programming, as well as advanced techniques important in game development. At the end of the week, every kid will have a game that they not only programmed themselves, but also customized to make it their own.

Like all our summer camps there will be a back up video in case there's a connection glitch or kids need more time to review the material. There will also be online office hours for one on one support.

This workshop requires a laptop or PC (macs are fine).   We may be able to loan you one.  A tablet or chromebook will not work.

If this workshop is fully booked and you'd like to attend please send an email to Karen@GadgetLab.org.  We may be able to add more sessions.
