Workshop Description
Instructor: Karen Giacopuzzi Instruction: $160 Tuesdays March 14- April 25 (No workshop on April 4) This six session workshop is for kids who would like to transition from drag and drop block coding to typed code. We'll start with our Hummingbird Robotics Boards and Microbits to master key coding concepts while making lights flash and motor spin. Then we'll transition our code into typed format and will play around with real C++ code. There will be some typing but it will be easily manageable for kids in this age group. Ages 10-14 Screentime Rating 65% Tech Resume Skills: Block Coding, Basic C++ including Variables, Constants, For and While Loops, Conditional Statements. Physical Computing (Robotics).
