Workshop Description

Instructor: Karen Giacopuzzi This workshop is fully booked. Python is not only a great for kids, it's also the most widely used programming language in the world.  In this camp we’ll be making a brick breaker-style game using Python and Pygame. We will learn the building blocks of programming, as well as advanced techniques important in game development. At the end of the week, every kid will have a game that they not only programmed themselves, but also customized to make it their own. Like all our summer camps there will be a back up video in case there's a connection glitch or kids need more time to review the material. There will also be online office hours for one on one support. This workshop requires a laptop or PC (macs are fine).   You can bring your own or use one of ours. If you bring your own we can help you install the software so you can keep programming at home. Gadget Lab is a small business and we cannot offer refunds. If you need to cancel we'll do our best to find another student to fill the slot. If we can find a replacement we'll send a full or pro-rated refund minus a $35 cancellation fee.
