Workshop Description

Ages 11 and Up Instruction: $360 Materials: $20 Total: $380 Please Note: This camp is for kids who have taken a prior circuit building workshop at Gadget Lab (such as GadgetHeads or Circuits Circuits). This camp is named after Sid, my favorite Toy Story character who takes apart and reassembles toys. It is similar to our previous Toy Hacking camp but this time we'll include parts from old computers and appliances. I can't tell you what you'll take home and I can't promise it will work but we'll all have fun trying. We may be taking apart stuffed animals so if your child is sensitive about things of that nature, then a different camp would be a better fit. Camp Sid is longer than our typical half day camps because open ended workshops take longer. Prior experience is required because we won't be able to offer basic circuitry and soldering instruction. Tech Resume Skills: Use of various drivers, Soldering, Circuit Building, Coding (if they automate their creation).

Cancellation Policy

Gadget Lab is a small business and we cannot offer refunds. If you need to cancel we'll do our best to find another student to fill the slot. If we can find a replacement we'll send a full or pro-rated refund minus a $35 cancellation fee.
