Workshop Description

Instructor: Andrea Schewe Instruction: $240 Materials: $15 Total: $255 Note: This is a half day camp. Save the planet and look awesome at the same time. You'll learn how to take apart old clothes and make something beautiful to wear. You can also use our embroidery machine and vinyl cutter to make the clothes truly yours. Instructor Andrea Schewe is a professional tailor and pattern maker. For years she had her own named line at Simplicity patterns and we are absolutely thrilled to have her teaching at Gadget Lab! This workshop is part of Gadget Lab's reuse series where we use materials that might otherwise be headed to a landfill. It's saves resources and money! Ages 11-15 Screentime Rating: 0% Tech Resume Skills: Safe Care and Use of a Sewing Machine, Embroidery Machine, Vinyl Cutter and Heat Press. Garment Construction and Design. Coded Designs for Vinyl Cutting. Reuse: Clothing and other sources of fabric.
